ISKON Ensemble

For more than two decades, the Iskon Ensemble has nurtured the traditional music of the Balkans, performing on famous festivals in Turkey, France, Russia, Hungary, Switzerland, Greece, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as at numerous festivals and events throughout Serbia. "Iskon in the Synagogue" includes two concerts, in two monumental buildings - in Subotica on September 17th and Novi Sad on September 24th. In addition to preserving it from oblivion, but also affirming the rich cultural heritage through concert activities, Iskon also devotedly works on a discography that will leave a legacy to future generations its vision of the musical heritage of the peoples living in the Balkans. The concerts are also an opportunity to promote the Iskon Ensemble's new album called "Drugovanje" (published by Mulitmedia Music), which has gathered fifty musicians from Italy, France, Mexico, Hungary and Serbia.
