The Carnival of the Animals by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns is one of the most famous piece of classical music dedicated to children. This humorous and inspiring work consists of 14 short movements in which the composer uses different musical instruments to paint portraits of different animals - a royal lion, elephants, donkeys, kangaroos, turtle, chickens, roosters, swan and others.
