At the final programme of Nomus 2024, one of the most popular works of the entire musical literature of one of the greatest Russian composers of all time will be performed: the Third Piano Concerto by Sergei Rachmaninoff. This beautiful music will be performed by the Russian-Armenian pianist Eva Gevorgyan. Although she is only twenty years old, Eva has an impressive career. She has won prizes at over 50 international competitions for piano and composition. Critics usually praise her emotional expressiveness and believability, as well as her impeccable performance technique.
In the second part of the programme, Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra will perform the 10. Symphony of the famous Soviet composer Dmitri Shostakovich.
The concert will be conducted by the outstanding Armenian conductor Sergej Smbatyan, artistic director and chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia and chief conductor of the Malta Philharmonic, and in the current season the chief guest conductor of the Berlin Symphony Orchestra.
