There are probably very few musicians who know each other as well as these two. Over the past ten years, they have played more than a thousand concerts together, more than six hundred of them as a duo.
They have performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls and festivals across Europe and beyond.
“Abrazo” is not inspired by the work of a composer but by an art form, a culture: tango. Peirani and Parisien do not play the material of the originals, but they play around with it. Pieces written by Astor Piazzolla, Tomás Gubitsch or Xavier Cugat are only part of the repertoire.
